- Experience & Skill
- Should have 10+ years of experience of working in product Engineering organizations with a proven experience of developing enterprise scale products in a highly agile/scrum environment.
- Strong knowledge of Java FS / .Net FS technology stack, Relational databases, AWS cloud, SaaS, design and architectural patterns as well as frameworks and be hands-on.
- Very good knowledge of software development tools, patterns, and processes (Agile principles, SCRUM, SAFe, V-model)
- Collaborate with architects, product management, and engineering teams to create solutions that increase the platform's value.
- Create technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate your ideas.
- Own progress of the product through the development life cycle, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring visibility to senior leadership.
- Excellent Critical thinking, Analytical, problem solving & Solutioning skills with a customer first mindset.
- Proficient in Backlog management, Sprint planning, Risk identification and mitigation, Data driven decision making, KPI monitoring, Performance monitoring, Skill gap analysis and planning.
- Leadership and Ownership: Take full ownership of the offshore team’s delivery, performance and success. Act as the primary point of contact for all team-related matters, ensuring team members have the resources, guidance, and support they need to succeed.
- Self-Sufficiency: Run the team managing any significant external blockers, taking initiative to remove obstacles and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow.
- Customer Engagement: Comfortable engaging with customers, when necessary, both to resolve issues and gather feedback to ensure the team’s work aligns with customer needs and expectations.
- Collaboration with Ness Stakeholders: Work closely with their counterparts Engineering Manager and Directors, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, alignment on goals, and timely sharing of key information.
- Metrics and Reporting: Provide regular updates to US development managers and directors on team performance, key metrics, and progress. Ensure visibility into the team's work and how it aligns with organizational goals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential. The TM will need to communicate effectively with both offshore and US teams, ensuring that project expectations are clear, progress is tracked, and issues are proactively addressed.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of growth and improvement within the offshore team. Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and efficiency within the team, ensuring agile methodologies are adopted where appropriate and obstacles are minimized.
